Stenning is a partner in Tillery Capital. He is a business leader with strategic consulting DNA, M&A financial and execution expertise, with actual operating depth. He is a dedicated and energetic team-player with more than 20 years of experience, almost all of that in private equity investments. He most enjoys developing cohesive working relationships with teammates, deal intermediaries, and portfolio executives. During his career he has closed more than 30 investments, with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $500 million, across a wide range of industries.
 
Stenning is also the Managing Partner of Evolution Strategy Partners, a similarly focused lower-middle market private equity investment firm.  Previously, he was a co-founder of CenterGate Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm.  Stenning also served as the Senior Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development for Total Safety, a private equity-backed company focused on energy and industrial market worker safety, where he completed eleven acquisitions and played a key role in the company's sale from DLJ/Credit Suisse to Warburg Pincus.  Prior to Total Safety, Stenning was a Principal at Eos Partners and H.I.G. Capital. While there his experience included LBOs, corporate carve-outs, growth equity, tuck-in acquisitions, bankruptcy reorganizations & Chapter 11 emergences, dividend recapitalizations, and debt purchase investments.

Previously, Mr. Schueppert was with GTCR Golder Rauner, a Chicago-based private equity firm that focused on growth through acquisition. He started his career as a consultant with Bain & Company in Chicago and Sydney, Australia.

Stenning earned a M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A., with Honors, in Economics from Northwestern University.
